History
Established in 1998.
Better Than New was formed in 1998 by Dan Oldejans in a 900 square foot apartment. They began with a few hundred dollars, a brief case and a couple of hand tools. Since that time, they have grown the business to be a full service refinish and custom shop. Their client list includes such retailers as Ethan Allen, Copenhagen Imports, Robb & Stucky, as well many of top designers. He has hosted their own TV show on HGTV, "Beyond Repair", and have had front page newspaper coverage. Dan have set himself apart from others through his strong arts background and unique approach to furniture and cabinetry. They use a huge network of colleges and professionals to find new and creative techniques to achieve their unsurpassed results. Dan has recently been sought out by the DIY cable TV network to write do it-your-self articles on furniture restoration for their website.
